Mag. Dr. Pratscher introduced our team to the topic of “healthy backs” and provided interesting tips and tricks for spine-friendly behavior in everyday office life. With practical exercises around the desk – after individual workplace analysis – it was possible to combat the causes of individual back problems in a targeted manner. Stretching, strengthening and flexibility exercises as well as tips on how to avoid incorrect loading, such as sitting and standing in a way that is easy on the back or how to behave in front of a screen and much more, illustrated the importance of exercise in everyday life and work to all employees. With a lot of joy and fun in the movement, the entry into an “eventful” working day in the office premises of the KPPK was thus promoted.

In the course of the Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) in order to jointly achieve health and success in the company, this workshop was selected by the KPPK team from the range of measures offered by the ÖGK. Under professional guidance, incorrect loads were pointed out and avoidance was consolidated through practical exercises directly at the workplace.
