With a year’s delay, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Summer Olympics were held in Tokyo in July 2021. The “Japan Nations Village” and two other pavilions were built by Hochsitz.at for sports competitions.
A mobile building concept combines modern architecture with a temporary construction method using up to 100% recyclable materials (wood, glass and steel). The standardised substructure of the high seat allows it to be built on any surface without any foundations.
It is with great pleasure that we look forward to the opening ceremony during the planning of several pavilions for the Summer Olympics in Paris 2024 and wish everyone – the organizers as well as the athletes – every success in the preparations.
