On October 4, 2013, the WU campus between the exhibition grounds and the Prater Vienna was officially opened. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new and sustainable campus of the WU Wien, built by the Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft, took place on 23.10.2009.
From BUSarchitektur ZT GmbH under the direction of Dra. Mag. Arch. Arq Laura Spinadel was commissioned with the structural design for the Teaching Center & Department 1 (TC/D1).
