On March 14th, the topping-out tree was erected on the shell of the new district office of the Austrian Red Cross in Mistelbach and the RC Lower Austria regional association invited all those involved to the topping-out ceremony. In close cooperation with URBANZESCH Architekten and Schüller Bau GmbH, the shell construction could be completed in less than 6 months due to the use of finished and semi-finished components.
In addition to garages and storage areas, the new district office offers space for the administration department, a large training area and 12 bedrooms. After the planned completion at the end of 2023/beginning of 2024, a total of 26 Lower Austrian communities in the entire administrative district will be cared for by the employees and volunteers of the Red Cross Mistelbach. The Red Cross district manager and the mayor of Mistelbach agreed that the involvement of all employees since the planning phase has promoted a feeling of “togetherness” right from the start of the project.
