For the subsidized housing project “Wohnpark Liesing”, located at Dirmhirngasse 76–78 in Vienna’s 23rd district, we were responsible for both the structural engineering and the role of inspection engineer in accordance with the Vienna Building Code (Wiener Bauordnung). The building at Dirmhirngasse 76–78 is designed as a classic seven-storey residential structure in reinforced concrete solid construction, ideally complementing the well-connected residential area. Together with lottiundmax ZT GmbH, who placed great emphasis on an open and inviting architectural language, we realized the project on behalf of the general planner Baumeister Lindner GmbH.
A modern brine-to-water heat pump system provides energy-efficient heating and cooling for the living spaces. Apartments facing the street offer residents unobstructed long-range views towards the southeast. Generously sized, cantilevered balconies provide effective shading in the summer months while simultaneously creating attractive private outdoor areas. All residential units within Wohnpark Liesing are equipped with private outdoor spaces, including gardens, terraces, loggias, or balconies. In addition, residents benefit from a wide range of shared facilities, such as various community rooms, a rooftop terrace with urban gardening, a communal garden, and three children’s play areas.
The project’s sustainable building concept includes a green façade with climbing plant supports and pre-installed infrastructure for e-mobility in the underground garage — a clear commitment to environmentally conscious mobility solutions. The completion of Wohnpark Liesing was achieved on schedule after only 20 months of construction. In this attractive suburban location, 103 high-quality yet affordable subsidized rental apartments were created. Demand was strong: 100 of the 103 units were already rented at the time of completion.
