The new International Christian School of Vienna is an extraordinary school campus in Vienna’s 22nd district, the design of which is based on the requirements of the US school system.
The architectural firm Franz und Sue ZT GmbH won the competition. Our team is involved in the planning with the services structural engineering, building physics and test engineer as well as the use of our proven digital tool R.O.S.E.®.
The choice of a solid brick construction in combination with reinforced concrete flat slabs ensures a high thermal storage mass, excellent thermal and sound insulation values and a comfortable room temperature in the long term. This is determined by a detailed thermodynamic simulation, on the basis of which the heating and cooling load of the building is optimized.
