Won: In the middle of Gablitz

In the middle of Gablitz, a residential project with about 50 apartments consisting of three buildings in solid wood construction is being built. The Austrian Federal Forests have announced a two-stage competition in which Treberspurg & Partner Architekten were able to convince the jury with a sophisticated architectural concept and innovative energy technology. We have supported them in the implementation as a technical GP. 

In terms of resource-efficient construction, the constructive concept provides for a high degree of prefabrication with a maximum energy efficiency of the building envelope at the same time. Wood is the defining element. By repeating the structures/construction methods, it is used economically with prefabricated standard components in such a way that both construction and maintenance costs are minimized. 

Due to its high resource efficiency, this timber construction “In the middle of Gablitz” is intended to serve as a showcase for ecological and economic sustainability. We are looking forward to the exciting project and a good cooperation with all parties involved!
