For the Chair of Anatomy at the Medical University of Graz, Auenbruggerplatz 25 in A-8036 Graz, the U-shaped existing building is to be renovated and partly rebuilt locally according to the planning documents. A new building is connected to the west side. The existing area is a listed building and the existing structure of the façade with the windows must be preserved. The building is to be thermally upgraded.

The aim is not to significantly change the original static concept of the building. Therefore, statically relevant demolitions must be countered with suitable compensation measures. The planned new building has three basements, whereby the UG 1 is only partly below the GOK. The UG2 is brought up to it along the existing anchored drill pile wall of the supply center to avoid overloading the anchors. Above it lies the ground and upper floor. On the flat roof (ceiling above upper floor) the ventilation center for the dissection rooms is provided.
