Located on one of the most beautiful rowing areas in Vienna, the aging boathouse – for one of the oldest rowing and sports clubs in Austria – was replaced in 2019 by a new hall for their extensive boat park. This was built in timber engineering. Traditional and innovative timber construction connections were implemented and manufactured by the carpentry company Ing. Robert Böhm in cooperation with the Ludwig Pöll Gesellschaft m.b.H. The award-winning project was presented in the exhibition “gebaut 2022” by “gebaut 2022” Vienna’s MA19 Architecture and Urban Design.
