In the Vienna Woods community of Gablitz, the outstanding residential project built using solid timber construction has been completed: “MITTEn in GABLITZ”. The new housing complex combines modern, nature-oriented living comfort with a clear ecological and economic focus.
The precise arrangement of the three compact building structures creates a central green space that integrates seamlessly into the rural setting; permeable surfaces and the use of native vegetation are specifically designed to improve the microclimate.
Sustainability is reflected not only in the choice of materials – in addition to timber, only ecologically certified building materials are used – but also in the energy supply: the residential buildings achieve top energy efficiency and are powered by an innovative combination of photovoltaics and 100% renewable regional energy. Resource-efficient construction, low operating and maintenance costs, and a strong focus on climate protection make this housing complex a model project for sustainable building.
Together with the client Österreichische Bundesforste AG and the architecture firm Treberspurg & Partner Architekten, Ziviltechniker GesmbH, we warmly welcome all future tenants to their newly created living oasis.
