Olympic Countdown: Construction work in Cortina d’Ampezzo is in full swing

In 22 days, the XXV Olympic Winter Games 2026 will begin with the opening ceremony in Milan. This will put the international spotlight on Italy and Cortina d’Ampezzo as one of the main venues.

Construction work on the Nations Village is currently in full swing. The modular, temporary structures blend seamlessly into the alpine topography. Wood, clear structures, and generous glazing combine functionality with the landscape and mountain panorama.

Our team is supporting the planning and implementation in close cooperation with the ‘Hochsitz’ team. Inspections and approvals have been successfully completed. Under challenging alpine conditions—from weather to logistics—the complex project is being implemented in an impressive manner by the ‘Hochsitz’ team with a high level of technical expertise, precision, and well-coordinated coordination.
