For the Anatomy Chair of the Medical University of Graz for the lecture halls the highest requirements of room acoustics. In order to be able to map speech intelligibility in the best possible way already in the planning phase, computer-based simulation methods are used.

By optimizing the room incubator and the targeted occupancy of surfaces with different frequency-dependent degrees of absorption, the planning specifications could be met and proven on the basis of the simulation carried out. This applies in particular to the requirements for reverberation time, speech intelligibility and volume in combination with the planned electroacoustic system.
