We are very pleased to congratulate the entire team around Windkraft Simonsfeld AG, the architectural office Juri Troy ZT GmbH, the project development M.O.O.CON GmbH and all other contributors on winning the Lower Austrian Timber Construction Award 2025 for the impressive project “Energiewende Platz 1”!
The Lower Austrian Timber Construction Prize is being awarded for the 20th time and honors outstanding projects that have been realized with wood as a building material. It impressively demonstrates the innovative power and sustainability of modern timber architecture. From March 2025, the public was also invited to choose their favorite from numerous submissions.
Wood as a building material plays a central role in sustainable construction and makes a significant contribution to climate protection. We are therefore all the more pleased that we were able to support the technical implementation of this flagship project with our expertise in the areas of structural engineering, building physics, energy and building technology and fire protection planning. We congratulate all award winners and participants as well as the team of the Lower Austrian Timber Construction Award for the successful realization of the award ceremony at the WIFI Lower Austria.
