Our building physics analyses and optimizes the physical properties of buildings and environmental interactions. It is an essential component of modern architecture and construction planning to promote quality of life, sustainability and efficiency.
In thermal building physics, thermal insulation measures for external and separating components are tested and documented, with a focus on thermal insulation in summer, thermal bridges and ventilation aspects in order to avoid structural damage. The Energy Performance Certificate assesses the thermal quality of buildings, includes heating and ventilation systems as well as renewable energies and enables the optimization of the building envelope.
Building acoustics includes the planning and verification of airborne and impact sound insulation as well as control measurements in accordance with building regulations. In room acoustics, acoustic comfort is improved through reverberation time calculations and the definition of sound absorption requirements. For noise protection, we prepare sound reports, simulations and plan measures to effectively minimize sound propagation.
Our building diagnostics offer detailed analyses using measurements such as thermography, blower door tests and moisture measurements to identify weak points and optimize existing buildings.
