The Raiffeisen Corner in St. Pölten is a center of excellence that optimally combines a bank headquarters, restaurants, event spaces, and administrative offices under one roof. The urban Food Market Court on the ground floor creates a meeting place for employees, customers, and visitors. The focus here is on healthy, regional products and an open, modern room concept for communicative interaction.
Innovative building services solutions and sustainable building technology ensure comfort and energy efficiency: air conditioning is provided by a brine-water heat pump, 28 deep probes, and component activation – without the need for a conventional air conditioning system. The smart building control system uses weather forecasts and adjusts energy flows economically; flexible workplaces, an indoor garden, and a roof terrace offer an attractive working environment for around 80 employees.
The project also sets standards in terms of construction and fire protection: a room-high truss structure enables an open event space with a 14-meter span – while maintaining the same ceiling thickness. The fire protection concept, with fire curtains and modern monitoring, combines safety and openness in an exemplary manner.
